Penumbra a Spanish word for the shadow around the edge of the moon where light and dark meet. Two people have been writing to each other for almost five years. One of them, Jim, is an artist. Penumbra follows the journey of Gwynne, from Ireland, through America to meet the Jim for the first time. The journey is illustrated by Jim's drawings.
